my first post

This is my first blog ever. I'm a little weirded out by the whole thing, but I'm sure it'll all be fine. [fingers crossed]

My Renaissance Lit class is proving to be very interesting. I love learning about what was considered "monstrous" back then. It is amazing how far the world has come in just a few hundred years. What would they think to live in our world for a day? I can't imagine the shock. I've always thought of the time of the renaissance as a scary time, also. So many breakthroughs, yet so many stereotypes. Learning more just makes me thankful to live in the diverse and rich world of today.
